If you want to learn how to build a basketball system, there are 3 main things you should know. Firstly, you need to have the right skills to make a great basket. Secondly, you need the right set of instructions for your skill level. And thirdly, you will need the materials to get your system together.
When learning how to build a basketball system you should first be aware of your skill set. Do you have enough skill to shoot a free throw? Are you comfortable creating a rhythm with your teammates to score baskets? Or are you better off doubling back for quick baskets?There are many different options for basketball systems. You can purchase a pre-made basketball goal, or you can build one yourself. The latter is the easiest option if you are confident enough to do it yourself. I'm going to give you a few good resources to help you out. Here are two of my favorites:
The PBC Backboard: If you are looking for a portable basketball system that doesn't take up a lot of floor space, the PBC Backboard is perfect for you. They come in three different sizes, and are built to be both stable and flexible. They are made from a thick powder-coated steel that resists rust and have an anti-skid backing designed to keep your players from sliding on the court. You will need to add sand to the bottom of each basketball system foot for extra grip.
The NBA Portable Backboard Size 54 Inch: This system is much like the PBC, but includes a bigger backboard to allow you to achieve the same stability as the PBC. However, you don't have to worry about using the PBC with the portable boards, since the NBA comes with a portable board that works just fine. The larger backboard size also allows you to achieve more weight resistance to your players. This makes this system great if you are going to be using it a lot.
The tempered glass backboards: These are probably a little bit more expensive than the other backboards made by Nike, but they offer some amazing features. The materials are much stronger than normal, and the backboard has a very solid base to help support the hoop. One great feature about these basketball hoops is that they are very durable and very light-weight. Many basketball hoops on the market are not very sturdy, and you definitely want to make sure you're getting a high quality product. Since they are a bit more expensive, you should definitely invest in good quality to ensure years of great service from your portable basketball hoops.
